Amazing Family

Mom and I are home now. We talked about family for a long time on the way home. It is a 2 day trip. We both agree that are family is one in a million. I'm so thankful and proud to call you all, "my family". The stories I heard were generally funny and sometimes sad and sometimes just plain crazy. And yes Sandi, sometimes vague............we'll just let some of those r.i.p.
I think, I've not only rekindled relationships with family I grew up with, but also made some grand friendships with those I just got to know. I hope we all continue to grow our relationships, new and old. You all hold a huge place in my heart. And life is just too short to let them just lay stagnent. So I say "Let's get the next party rolling".
I miss you all already!

I was hoping to find some words of wisdom, but ya'll have said it so well, I cant add much to it, except to make a wish for... I heard this again on the way home and thought of my family....

Rascal Flatts sang:

I hope that days come easy and moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,

More then anything, more then anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it,
To your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more then you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more then you take.

Oh More then anything, Yeah, and more then anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it,
To your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more then you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

If you turn ON the sound (that means you Orrin!!) that is the same song that plays during the slide show Jodi made. I told her Orrin didn't hear it on the video, and she thought that was so great that they both had the same song in mind! It really does say it all. Well, I'm still addicted to this blog, and I need to work! Dang those council meetings just come up so fast..I got tons of stuff to do :( Thanks to all of you expressing so much love. Does a body good to hear it doesn't it?

1. Turn you 'puter on
2. Plug in the speakers
3. Turn on the speakers
4. click on the nifty button and make sure the little circle thing moves...to the right
5. Yes, turn up the speakers so you can hear the song.
6. If you still ain't got it, get one of your kids to hep ye.
