Hi Everybody!
We have set up this blog so that alllllll the Ladd cousins can keep in touch and get to know each other a little better. If all goes well, we are hoping to have a cousins' reunion possibly in Sept. 2008 here in Jonesboro, AR.
Please take a little time to post some info about yourself and your family--share a funny story--ask a question--or any other old thing you feel like contributing.
Be sure to check back often to share new stories and hear about folks you have been wondering about (in a good way ;) ).

Hey Deb, I have to agree with Sandi...I think you got your lips from your mom....the Ladd's do have those luscious lips! ha, or is that just the lip liners? Oh and those noses and what about the freckles....what happened to you guys that missed those freckles???
Does anyone know how to get in touch with Pam, Ludy's daughter or should I say Janie?? Also, don't know how to contact Gabby's kids. I would love to find everyone. The reunion will be so much fun. I'd love to go take a tour of the Ladd homestead in Missouri (if it's still there)I think that's where Ransom lived. But mostly it will just be fun to get together and visit with all my cousins.

Well hello fellow Ladd cousins! This is Cory, Gabby's son -- not to be confused with the pretty one! I typically speak to Aunt Shirley, around this time of year, and she told me about the reunion. I received a very pleasant surprise today -- an email from cousin Jodi! That absolutely made my day! It's been SOOO long since I've seen or spoken to most of y'all (trying to fit in with you guys!).
I live sort of in the Chicago area -- really it's a suburb about 45 minutes west. I have been married for 16 years and have a 13 year old son named Dylan. I'm a "youngster" like Jodi and won't be 40 until April Fools Day! In breaking with Ladd tradition, Lisa, my wife, is the only one I've ever had, and we've only done it once! : )
Anyway, my son doesn't believe I have ANY relatives that aren't from Hawaii (that's where my mom's from, for those that didn't know!). He's really only seen my dad a couple of times, and that was when he was 2 or 3. We're really excited to see / meet my family!
If I can figure it out, I'll upload some pictures of my family. After reading all the "lip" comments, I apparently got the entire Ladd family allotment!

Well, whatta ya know...it's little cuzin Cory! Been a while since we've heard from you! Tell your son not only does he have real COUSINS...he's got real red neck CUZINS. Mom said, (that would be your Aunt Earnie), to tell you to come ANY time...and we will make a special holiday for you all. But do try to keep September open too. I remember very well when you were born. I remember your Mom and my Mom both being pregnant at the same time. Course I haven't seen you since you were a little boy, so I kind of "freeze frame" people....I can't believe how OLD you and Jodi are!!!! LOL!
So glad you got on line with us. Maybe we can get the rest of the bunch to join in and get some fed back of when everyone can get together. It will be great! Merry Christmas to all of you!
