Happy Birthday!We miss you!

Mom & Cloud
Little Miss Vicki, as I'm sure you know --if you read some of the very first blogging, YOUR birthday is a day Me, Cathi and Donna will NEVER forgot! Yep, the day you were born, your cousins/ Aunt were sitting in jail in Blytheville Arkansas! Ahhh..."Precious Memories...how they linger...."
Any way I know it's nearly midnight, but everytime I had to write the date today (and that was only a little less than a gazillion times), I thought about you and hoped that you were having a good birthday! My first neice....and such a sweetie. When I think of you when you were little, I always think about your smile and how hard you would laugh playing "peek a boo". The other memory is when you had that cast on your arm. You were in school, but you were sooooo tiny! If you held your arm down, that cast would just fall off your arm and into the floor. That was so pitiful! Oh yeah...and how your Mom would tell everyone, "Look, doesn't Vicki's hair look just like Farah Faucet's?" And yes, it did. (I'm sure your proud of those pics, huh?!)...then there is the time when you were high school aged and had those cold sore things. I actually stayed on hold for a radio talk show host for a program of natural health to find out what you needed to take for that! Then there is a multitude of memories of you being the little mother to your 2 younger sisters. If you knew they were going to get in trouble YOU were worried...even when they could care less! You were always trying to take care of them. I hope they know that.
Hope you had a wonderful and happy birthday! Love you Little Vicki!
Aunt Sandi
Happy Birthday Victoria. I never thought you would be able to spell your long name for school, but I guess you did.
love uncle jack
Happy Birthday Vickie:
I didn't get to see you grow up and I've only met you once or twice but I could tell you have a very gentle sweet spirit. Fortuneatly you didn't turn out like your Auntie and 2nd cousins who were off sittin in the poky instead of at the hospital waiting to see you. Just kidding....I think they're all pretty great too..Love you guys.
Evona
yep...she does have a sweet gentle spirit. She's actually the sweetheart of our group. She just picked the wrong day to come into the world! If she could have waited just 24 more hours, WE would have been cleared and no one would have been the wiser!!! None the less, we were all glad she made it safe and sound!
Great!!!! you had to go there again. I've been trying to get over that night for 30+ years. I believe that My Mom, Aunt Aud and Aunt Earnie and a little run in with the law that same night. Anyone want to talk about that? huh??

Speaking of birthdays, Mom tells a story of when her and my dad sent away for their birth certificates. She sent for hers because hers was lost in a house fire, and dad needed one because of a correction that needed to be made. The certificates came back in a few weeks, mom finding out that the birthday she had been celebrating for 50+ years was WRONG! She was actually born a day earlier than she thought. So she now celebrates 9-3 and 9-4. And my dad's came back that he's a female. Moral of story....never believe anything you hear and only half of what you see.
Sandi remember Vicki was born on Easter and aunt Lennie wanted me to name her Easter but I told her no because the kids at school would call her Easy. What kind of name is Easter anyway!
okay Donna, yes I want to hear the story of your mom, A. Aud & A.
Earnie and law....all this on
Vicki's birthday??
OH MAN DONNA! I forgot about the "older" gals getting stopped by the "coppers"! LOL! Why don't you tell it before Aint Aud tries to smooth it over!!
Evona, I thought everyone knew about the "when Vicki was born" story! You need to wait til we are in person so I can imitate Donna in the back seat of the squad car! (sorry Donna!)
and Deb, I didn't know Aunt Lennie wanted you to name her Easter...but then again how many people have an AUNT "Lennie"?????
About the birth certificates..my Dad's was messed up too, but I never heard about your Mom and Dad's. I wonder when your Dad was in the Navy why they didn't catch the "female" on it? Crazy, huh? Wish I had two birthdays. I love my birthdays!
Happy belated birthday!
Did they have a lot of problems in Arkansas with birth certificates?? My dad's had the wrong name on it. The story goes that his mom (grandma) didn't have a name for him when he was born so the doctor sent in his birth certificate with the name Pete on it. His mom later named him Cleatus Verlin, then somehow that got changed to Cleatus Vernon, but most people called him Pete. LOL
