Another week, in the books. I hope that it has been a good one for you all.
Jack, I hope that you are getting stronger, and feeling better.
And, so I wont be late, Happy Birthday to yaw that have one coming up!
This is my favorite time of year! I refer to it as an explosion of life. It is perhaps more dramatic this far north than it is down there? Perhaps not. My family will spend a lot of time in the woods beginning in late April. We will head further north seeking morel mushrooms in the state forests. We will see eagles, elk, all sorts of baby deer, elk, partridge ... you name it! The trees and flowers will soon unfurl a new season of foiliage and birds and frogs sing all day long.... well the frogs go on way past sunset.
I have begun start up on my water garden, did the top half last Sunday and look forward to wrapping up the bottom half this weekend. I miss the sound of the water falls. With the water warming up, the fish are moving again. They barely move all winter long.
And its about time to do some fishing up north too!
Oops, I have to finish rebuilding the 2 hay wagons first..... and fix a leak in the pole barn roof. Lost some shingles in a storm, dont ya know.
Anyway, I'll be plenty busy, but it prolly wont keep me from checking in. I hope yaw do the same, drop short notes when you can, cuz I know you will be busy as well. ... And I will be thinking of yaw and looking forwared to July! Hot Dawg dont cha know?

Orrin, you never lack for something interesting to say...I'll give ya that. Two hay wagons and a pole barn roof??? You're not Amish are you? Oh well, don't let your spring fever keep you too busy cuz we'd miss ya!

Orrin: you almost make me want to leave beautiful California to come to your freezing cold winters state! ha You do have a way with words. However, I think I will stay put in sunny Cal for now. I'm 2 hours from the mountains, and 2 hours from the coast. I am looking forward to meeting you in July tho....should be a hoot.
Orrin, you make me feel guilty for not appreciating all the glory of spring! ..but then I don't know where to find those mushrooms! LOL!!!
Miss Stonebarger, did you say you were looking forward to seeing him THIS July? Does that mean you're going to make it in??? I HOPE that's what you meant. I need you on my side ya know.
Orrin, It's spring here too and it has rained so much the soil has washed out of the flower bed and the sod in the yard floated away. When you step on the concrete in the drive giant waves of water squirt out and the temperature goes from 80 to 40 in a blink. But I still don't miss the snow and I'm glad I don't have to fix the barn. You do make it sound like a good time but I'd rather read about it than live there.

I was wondering if anyone was going to catch that,,.you're pretty good. I'm doing everything possible so I can be there....So probably. I've sold lots of extra lipsticks!haha I will have to take my lil cousin Jodi up on her offer to stay at her house tho...unless I can sell more lipsticks. How could I miss this event. We have talked about it for so long. I even thought maybe I could hitchhike if necessary, but doubt anyone would pick up an old chick anyway, so guess I'll have to fly. So see ya in July, cuz.
OMG just can't believe it. Evonna use your visa card and come on down we really do look forward to seeing you. Sandi has got some room also (I think) .My house is booked with Aunt Shirley and Donna, but we can always find something. I think Gabby might surprise us all and show. The more the merrier, Jodei has put her everything into making it happen.
Orrin, I sure do mish you a lot and caint wait to see you.
