Howdy Hey! Happy Friday to y'all
BRRRRRRRRRR -10 yesterday morning and again this morning. It was 22 below zero on the west side of the state where Julaine is at school. That's freakin c o l d <---- see it's so cold my keyboard is freezin up.
All is well here, 2009 is up and running without too many blips. WOW, how about that pilot in New York! WTG.
Nuttin too awfully exciting going on here, unless you can count plowing my drive way over and over... as the snow keeps blowing around. Gee Whiz.... New Years Eve day I had to do it 4 times so people that came over to party didnt get stuck.... and as it was.... 2 did.
I think that I am ready for spring.... it is great that the days are getting longer. I really like that... come late April and thru May, we head up north for weekends in the woods, looking for wild mushrooms.... mmmm Morels! It is my favorite time of year, an explosion of life. Is nice to have something to look forward to.
Well, back to work. I hope everyone is healthy and you didn't get that nasty flu bug that tore us up.
Be well,
Love
Orrin

Wow, that is cold! but I woke this morning to 14 degrees in Memphis. I don't know what the chill factor was because I don't go outside when it gets that cold.
I did send Debbey to the store today to buy me some longer shorts in case I do need to go to the liquor store!
Stay Warm
Cloud
I'm with you Orrin, I am sooo ready for warmer weather.
Somebody needs to call Al Gore and ask him what's up with all this cold stuff!
Jodi
At this point, I might be willing to accept some of his hot air!

Well, I couldn't find Cloud any longer shorts so I bought him longer socks.
That oughta work!
We just can't get a decent winter out here. I swear! It's just so boring, always the same old thing, sunny, high in the upper 70's lower 80's. I get up every day and just can't decide which tank top to put on. Jeez, it's so frustrating. Then of course when you do decide to venture outside and go somewhere it's always the same dilemma, do I put on the air conditioning or roll down a window. I try to be energy conscious and recognize that using the air conditioning all the time uses more of our precious fossil fuels. But, if I roll down the window it totally messes up my hair, which will cause me to have to restyle it and my blow dryer uses 1500 watts of electricity and we all know the cost of producing electricity is going up. It's a real toughy, whew! I'm constantly reminded just how bright the sun is around here so I have to have plenty of sunglasses in a variety of colors and styles to go with whatever I'm wearing be, it shorts or short skirt. And of course, it's ALWAYS bikini weather here so you have to stay in shape all the time. Talk about work! It's just so damn tiring. I just can't get rid of this ongoing little pooch under my belly button. I swear somebody inserted a kaiser roll under my belly button when I was sleeping. It just suddently appeared and I get all depressed about it which only a pint of Ben and Jerry's is going to fix that. Luckily we have a Ben and Jerry's down on Main Street right between the movie theater and the Thai restaurant. It's also a wireless hot spot, so that's cool too. So, yeah, I'd like to have seasons too. You all are so lucky to have such diversity.
Well, it's snowing in Memphis today. Half the drivers are freaked out and the other half drive faster than normal to prove how great they are. It's funny and annoying at the same time!Cloud has on his long socks, shorts and a sweater-cute.I guess it's time to go outside and let the little kids next door bomb us with snowballs so we can run and scream and make them laugh.
Take Care,
deb
