We're back in U.S. of Texas

Howdy all,We got in last night around midnight. We stopped in on Gails (and Jodi's)in-laws before we left.Everything went smooth. We want to thank all ya'll for everything and making this first re-union everything we thought it would be.Sure was good seeing everyone.I'm especially glad to see Dylan. It was like looking back into the past and seeing Cory as a thirteen year old. Well just remember that just because we are winding down, doesnt mean we have to let this thing go obsolete. It wont be hard to come in and make a small entry from time to time and let us all know whats up.Jim,I enjoyed sitting in with ya'll.Maybe next time I can remember the words .LOL.And Ernie, thanks for taking me off my diet with that breakfast.Good seeing Aud & Family & Cathi & Lew, Shirl& Donna again as well as Sarah,Orrin and Gail S...Cory & Lisa,I think we will be up there around Christmas so I'll get the address to your place and maybe I can spend a couple of days with you..Evonna,tell Jerry & Vernon that we expect them here on the blog some too.Jodi,Deb,Sandi and all the add-ons (kids) it wouldnt have happened without your hard work.Ok,I'm outta here before I spoil my image,so I'll catch ya'll later...:)

Ohhhhh man! It's so sad to look at the countdown days and see a big fat ZERO!! Can't believe it is over. I had so much fun seeing everyone. Absolutely the best time I've had in years !!! I had so many good laughs, and found out what a great bunch of family I have. I sincerely mean that. I think MY family IS the best! In fact, I told Orrin that I felt like that person in the cell phone commercial that has all the backup people around them all the time….even tho you all aren’t here with me every day, I feel the strength of the “gang”…..I just feel stronger knowing all of you. Can’t really explain it, but it’s like there was never a gap in time that we didn’t know each other. Thank you all for making the trip. I’ll cherish our time together forever and ever! Love to ALL of you….what a special family I have been blessed with! Love, Sandi

You're not lying Sandi! I was going to post earlier but was getting all sad again....BUT I'm good now! : ) I can't tell you how AWESOME it was to meet / see everyone! This whole reunion thing really has made my year! Those that couldn't make it were dearly missed -- but we talked about ya so you were here in spirit!

Thank you to Evonna, for coming up with the idea in the first place, and to the rest of the Ladd women (God knows us Ladd men were pretty much useless!) that put this together and made everything so special! I cannot thank y'all enough for making my family feel sooooo welcome! Dylan even said he felt like he had a big brother in Asa (that's the kind of s**t that makes typing this so hard!)

Anyway.... we already miss y'all like crazy! Here's to getting an early start on the NEXT reunion!

We love you all!

Cory, Lisa, & Dylan!

I hate it when I feel happy and sad at the same time. I loved seeing everyone and now you're gone! I would never have guessed how close I could feel to everyone, maybe absence does make the heart grow fonder. No, we are all just great people and everyone loves us!Yep, thats my story and I'm sticking to it!I must need some hormones or something because as happy as I am I keep crying-what's up with that?Anyone else having that problem?Love to- all gotta go-crying again.

I don't know Deb, is this really you or is it Sandi? It was a great time and it's good knowing how many good Ladd's are out there. Everyone had their own special quality about them. Gabby, I really enjoyed you playing with us, sorry I had a little to much to drink and was mostly brain dead, I'm not use to drinking and playing! I drink and sleep. Cory, what a fine family you have, and I wish Lisa could cut what is left of my hair. Dylan, you can come down anytime that you want for as long as you want, there is some hillbilly education that you still need! Orrin, I'm glad we met, now I have some new material to use on folks around here, and can't wait to meet the rest of the family. Gail thank for getting that catus out of my finger, I'm all better now, and Sara I'm glad that you found yourself. Well we hope to see you'all soon.
Jim, CHARLotte and Asa.

Jodi...just don't pay no never mind to yo bro! He's just trying to be machoman! And besides, now everyone knows how much he picks on his poor sisters. But I feel the same way you do....just can't even put what's in my heart into words. Jimmie can't either-that's why he's making fun of us!!!

You can't talk Jim. I have never heard you say anything nice and now look at you. Has it been building up over the years and now you can't stop? Jodi is just waiting her turn.
