I hope to have time this weekend, to try to put my emotions into words. For now, I can only say thank you. Thank you for the love and friendship that I have found in the Ladd family. Thank you ladies, for making the reunion a reality. Thank you for showing us what a wonderful family we have been so blessed to re-join. I for one, will miss out on no more. I will continue to meet you here to share love and laughter in good times and in bad, and look forward to our next get-together. I hope ya'll will share your photos.... as I was too busy telling jokes and just getting to know everyone to take my own pictures. I know, it's a lame excuse.... but it is the only one I have. What wonderful memories you have given me. I replay them often in my mind. (except for those muffed golf shots of mine)
Love, Orrin
ps I do not mind admitting that I am misty eyed as I type. Is it too soon to start planning the next one?
JODI, You put this together like NO ONE else could do. You did it with LOVE, and right back to you ,we will talk for hours and play the tape for hours too. I LOVE IT.. I LOVE YOU. Thank you. aunt aud
Jodi that was so special! And for those of you that don't know, she is putting a c.d. together, and yes there will be some of the 1920's mob too. What she put up for now is just to keep a smile on your face! :) I'm smiling! Thanks Jo!
Alrighty Deb, here is what I can say about what the reunion meant to me. First of all, there were several family members that we always wondered about, where they were, and how they were doing. We would bring up their names at family get together, but there was never enough information to really talk about them. Then one day Michael showed up, and he filled in some of these blanks, but not enough to make it real or meaningful. Since that time we here in Arkansas wondered if we would ever meet. Then it finally happened and we had some time to share with each other and now the family has gained some new balance and direction. The extra benefit was discovering that the missing family members were so special, and just down right fun to be around. I wished that everyone could have stayed longer, and it would be even better if they stayed at my house! The three days was just not enough to make up for all of the missing years of separation, but it was a good start. I wish that everyone lived here in Arkansas, and we could share all of the holidays and meaningful events. The best part is that now there are some memories that we all share, and the hopes that it will happen again. (Soon, very soon)
OMG! Was that my little brother showing his heart???!!! The same brother that turned me into a human salt shaker while I was on the phone Monday nite??? Dang! You said it good and I'm proud of you! The last time I remembered you being THAT sweet was back (waay back) when we talked for hours on end about all our feelings. Haven't seen this side of you in ages. I think this reunion did you good! LOL! You're right...we would always bring up the others, but never had any answers. Now we know they are real and boy, we sure like our cuzins, don't we? You're right...it would be so cool to spend all the holidays with everyone, run into them at ball games and stuff like that--so why don't yaw get with Cathi about real estate here and start getting settled in!!!
Jodi, thank you so much for putting that together. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! And such a great choice for a song. My mom and I watched it three times already! Thank you for being you!
Once again I wanted to let the family know that you are ALL so special and loved and I am so fortunate to have such a awesome family. We definately have to get together again and soon. Maybe the next time we can stay longer Love you all Gail Shailee
Now the family has a snapfish account. In this account, we can all post photos and then order prints of them all, just like taking it to the store. I also think you can pick them up at Walgreens from this site.
Post Pictures there so we can all have copies! ---------------------------------------------------------- Photobucket is back in working order, so please put up your pictures so we can all see.

Orrin, you're such a sweetheart, glad you found the play button
;-).
Aunt Aud and Sandi thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Debbey, I'll bet you could circulate a George Carlin style e-mail on the various meanings of the term "Hoot."
Jim...wow, very, very well said. You never cease to amaze me big brother (that was sincere, so don't use it as a set up for a joke).
