Jodi has assigned me to the CONTEST portion of our reunion. There will be a contest every month and prizes will be awarded at the reunion. Everyone that is somehow related to the Ladd's will be eligible and encourged to enter. We will all vote on the best entry by emailing your vote to me at cloudndebbey@yahoo.com. We think it will be fun and we can get to know each other a little better.

BEST BABY PICTURE!
So pull out those old polaroids and let's see what you looked like. The picture posting will begin February 1.

that sounds good...but you know I'll be the BIG looser for baby pictures! ....can't say as my off-spring would do much better! (altho she improved with age thank the Lord). Do you remember when she was born? Dad called me at the hospital and asked me who she looked like. I stared into the face of this little skinny pruned up kid screamin kid...speechless. I thought about telling Dad she looked like him, but I didn't want to hurt his feelings when he finally saw her All I could hope was, please God, don't let this be MY baby. In fact I was convinced they mixed up the babies in the hospital. (Lori..if you're reading this, know that I decided to accept and love you no matter how you looked, but I WAS releived when I saw how beautiful you grew up).
And don't feel too bad....looking at my own baby pics, I'm sure my parents felt the same way! As my siblings will tell you, I was actually born "whistling". Yep...my lips were puckered and I was whistlin...(whistlin' "Dixie" I think!) har har har!

Alyx thought her name was Chubba for 3 years... had to break it to her before she started school... that they would be calling her Alyxandra... she didnt like that much

Chubba? That's cute. I'm with her, I like Alyx, but Chubba is unique! Debbey, what's the deadline on this contest? You know I'm a last minute, get it done gal.
