DANG!! Out numbered ain't the word for it!! Thankfully Dylan's on now. Was starting to feel like Custer & Davey Crocket around here!
I guess on the bright side -- we can't come in 3rd in the team arm wrestling contest!
Ah moan keek yass!
Besides, that's a crock cuz all girls rock! And yeah I can throw rocks and I don't throw like a girl!
None of the Ladd women throw like a girl from A.Aud and down the line. We're just all pretty tomboyz!
Debbey...be careful using the word "all". For those of you that DON'T know...I'm about the least athletic person you will ever know. Debbey made me play on a softball team with her one year because they didn't have enough players.....they HAD to put me on the field...and they HAD to let me bat the ball. One time I almost caught a fly ball, and I really would have caught it if it hadn't of bounced off my head first! ...and as far as being "tough"...I can talk a good talk, but if I can't scare you with my words, don't worry about a me whirling any rocks! (Cory...that was a pretty darn funny story you told about the rocks).
Don't feel like your the only Ladd boy that had to endure that type of humiliation....My Mom did the same thing to my brother Jimmie. He came in crying cuz some boy punched him, and OUR DEAR SWEET MOM shoved him back out the door, told him not to come back til he beat the boy up! She locked the door....and we all watched as he cried..and punched...cried...and punched, and after the other boy fell to the ground and gave up, Mom let Jimmie back in the house! It must be a family tradition (thank God she never made ME fight...I'd have to miss the reunion, cuz I'd still be standing there crying!)
Love to all!
Sandi
OMG Sandi!! That's exactly what it was like!!! I'm guessing that didn't come out of a Dr. Spock book!
My how times have changed.....Can you imagine that happening today?
Debbey,
the sweatshirts that Alyx and her (girl)equestrian teammates wore last year had the following definition printed on their backs
"COWGIRL: a better looking cowboy, with brains."
it's a hoot! and so true
Hey, that's sounds like a great shirt!
Cory-I'm guessing our "Mom's" could...and would have whooped the fire outta Dr. Spock! LOL! In fact I remember when the book came out all the grown ups were talking about how stupid it was.
