Ideally it is the best to get as much information as possible. So if there are divorces, step children, adopted children, legal name changes, etc it can all be noted and sorted out in the Famly Tree software. The more complete we can make the information the more interesting a Ladd book will be. Names, dates, places, anecdotal stories and historical events are great to read. Below is Orrin's information. It is as basic as can be and yet supplies the most critical information. Any extra is wonderful.

You know, I'm kind worried that if my brother Jimmie does his, people might think he married me! When I went to the library to look up wedding names/dates, boy! what a mess!! My brother married a girl named Sandy one time, and Jack and I married four times, (my brother married three times), and his x wife Sandy married 3 times....so there's this L O N G list of "Sandra Ladd's" that kept getting married.....and once to my brother! ONLY in Arkansas, huh? ...well, actually I'm sure Mississippi probably can match it.

As for the branch? Geez...I'm not sure I could even figure it out! It's a little cock-eyed, as you know! A brother here...sister there. When Dylan first looked at our profiles, he'd ask, "who is that" - and I'd of course say, "my sister"! It was kind of funny. Think of my side as an apple tree -- only this one grew an orange over there...a peach over here....maybe a watermelon...grapes...just a smorgasboard of stuff!

Shhhh...Sarah, "Little Jim" doesn't know that. The one thing I never got thru to him is that the 1950's are GONE.
