Hi Everyone!
I'm new here, so I hope I did this right! I'm Diane, one of Gabby's daughters. I think this is an awesome thing you've done Jodi, it's a shame that too many of us have lost touch!
I live in a suburb of Chicago with my husband Tim. We have five kids and an adorable 2 year old granddaughter, Brooklynn! Chrissy is 24, Andrea is 22, Stephanie is 16, Zak is almost 13 and Josh is 11. I'll try to upload some pictures later.
We're going to try to make it to the reunion in July! I would love to see everyone!
Love,
Diane

Hi Sis!
Long time no see... 1983?
Is nice to hear that all is well for you and your family. Hope to see you again this summer.
love,
Orrin
What's up sis! It's really good to hear from you -- wayy over due!
How in the hell do you have a Grand-daughter??? You're not old like some of our kin -- you're young like me and Orrin!
It would be awesome to see you guys before July -- I really miss you guys. Tell your hubby I said hello! Drop me a line sometime.
Cory
Hi Diane,
I am so glad you made it to the blog. Jodi has done an amazing job getting this going and we finally have imperical evidence that the Ladd bunch is totally disfunctional...funny....but disfunctional. It might take you a while to catch up on the reading cuz I swear these people must type about 90 words a minute. It is well worth the read. Just don't be eating Doritos while you catch up. The little bits end up all over your computer screen.
Yea...only a goof would do that!!
: )
I was just starting to like you Cory and now this!!
Diane it's so good to hear from you and WOW what a BEAUTIFUL family!
Thanks to both you and Sarah for the kind words. Take care and I look forward to hearing from you again and hope so much that we will see you in July.
So that's how it's going to be, huh? Alright...from now on, the story goes Chuck whupped up on you something fierce! I may even add that I had to jump in to bring honor back to the Ladd name!
And then maybe let one rip.......just to give y'all something to talk about!
Hi Diane! So glad you joined in! It would be great if you can make it. Everyone submitting pictures, (thank you Dylan) and putting families with stories are great. I've really enjoyed getting to know everyone again. I have to warn you ...I've been the "butt" of many jokes so don't let any of those stories scare you off! (don't let Cory scare you either, we'll make sure there is no milk around). Please keep writing and staying in touch!
Love, Sandi...the wind breaker
p.s. Sarah-betcha didn't know that was my "given" Indian name! I now officially bestow it upon cuzin Cory.
Sandi, I had no idea your Indian name was Wind Breaker. You probably don’t know that Cloud’s Indian name is Mighty Big Wind and Orrin’s Indian name is Against The Wind. Cory’s Indian name is Wind in the Face. Jim’s Indian name is Four Sheets to the Wind and Gabby’s Indian name is Dust in the Wind (Cuz he’s an old fart). Jodi’s Indian name is Wind Beneath My Wings, and Dylan’s Indian name is Second Wind. Debbey’s Indian name is Whirl Wind, and Gail’s Indian name is Gail Force Wind. There’s Aint Aud cuz She’s Like the Wind, and Dave’s Blowin in The Wind. Donna’s Indian name is Wind of Change and Vicki’s is Candle in the Wind.
Oh, and my Indian name is Crazy Glue.
If I forgot anyone, I apologize in advance.
Diane, I must have messed up a message yesterday, so I'm putting something back on. It's good to hear from you, and welcome.
Cory, I said something real cute to you, but today its just not that funny to re-type. Something about martial training in all weapon forms, including your last comment. But today its just good to know that there is someone to save the family name, that would be Orrin Newton by the way, lol. But really it will be a good feeling just getting everyone together. The bigger the better!
P.S. Sandi said your ears were twice as big as mine!!!
